• Ivy Bound Test Prep
  Ivy Bound is a network of tutors and teachers located primarily in the Northeastern United States. We have a presence, however, in over 20 states as well as internationally. Ivy Bound's focus is test prep, especially for the SAT, but many Ivy Bound tutors have expertise in topics ranging from economics to calculus to biology to creative writing.
• Lumina Prep
  Lumina Prep is an online SAT tutoring agency, of which I myself am the founder and co-owner (along with my twin brother Edward). Through Lumina Prep I aim to bring my expertise to high-schoolers who otherwise couldn't afford it. The service runs in the hundreds of dollars, rather than the thousands. I am confident that the Lumina system is far and away the most efficient SAT prep money can buy. The basic idea behind Lumina is that I've reverse-engineered the SAT to find out which concepts it tests and the frequency with which they are tested (there are approximately 200!). I then wrote 55 lessons totaling nearly a thousand pages covering all and only the concepts tested by the SAT. Lumina students take a diagnostic test, which is automatically graded, and then are assessed on all 200 concepts. They are then assigned lessons that target the concepts they don't yet understand, with drills and practice tests along the way to ensure that they are learning from the lessons.
